Our interpretation of the iconic image of the Mother and Child that first appeared on a wall painting in the Catacomb of Priscilla, Rome, Italy. The central design elements are carefully folded and sculpted by hand using virgin white glass. A a gather of clear molten glass is applied over the central design element and fumed with a translucent blue veil. A final gather of crystal clear glass is applied over these elements casing the finished design. 4.5" W x 9" H
