This example from our dragon series requires an application of ice blue transparent glass threads over a virgin white molten substrate. The combination is fused at 1,800 degrees and pressed into a diamond optic prior to casing in crystal clear glass. During my research for this new series I stumbled onto renderings of dragons in ice, I was captivated by this sculptural art form that has the appearance of glass, but only survives 6-7 hours indoors. 4.5" W x 11.75" H
