The Crackle Vase is inspired by frozen ice that has just cracked. The design influence is from the convergence of hot glass & cold water that creates a crackled finish, reminiscent of frozen, crusted ice. A crunchy, crackling feel. The technique is old, but the designer uses it in her own personal way. The Crackle series is hand made mouth blown in Kosta, Sweden by Desinger Åsa Jungnelius. It takes 12 artisans to create one piece. Best for serving, storage, for time spent with friends and family. 8.1" W x 10.6" H
