A compact and realistic VW Beetle Die-Cast Model designed for everyday play and display, engineered in metal and plastic for durability and a quality in-hand feel. In 1945, the first VW Beetle rolled off the production line in Wolfsburg - and took hearts by storm, because the small, cuddly car not only looked good, it was also affordable and at the same time very robust and powerful. The Beetle, as it was christened by a reporter from the New York Times, quickly became an absolute cult object. In 1998, the original 'Beetle' was replaced by the reinterpretation 'New Beetle'. And after almost 70 years and more than 22 million cars built, the last example left the VW plant in Puebla, Mexico. It is now immortalised in the vehicle fleet: we are presenting the small cult car with the iconic, round shapes for the first time as a detailed replica in this size.
