The Technical dial highlights the elapsing seconds of each minute as measured by the red silent sweep seconds hand, adding to the nautical feel. The dial is protected by a gasketed glass lens to keep moisture out. The Accurate silent sweep (no ticking ) quartz movement uses 1 AA battery (not included).
