The cleaver is engineered and weighted to make heavy chopping easier. Breaks down tendons and bones as well as pounds minces and dices. Damashiro knives are inspired by traditional Japanese craftsman and Samurai sword makers. Characterized by distinctive traditional Damascus on the blade with mottling reminiscent of flowing water. Blade is tapered for a thinner and more precise cutting edge. Engineered and tested to meet Rockwell 53 hardness for optimum performance.
