Amber, blue and white glass are applied to a gather of molten clear then fused in the furnace. Colors are blended around the circumference of the design to produce the image of a swirling galaxy with individual stars visible in the vase wall. The exterior of the design receives a mirror finish produced by the application of a reduction flame which reacts with the blue. Filled with water and illuminated by a submersible light emitting diode a swirling galaxy image is projected outside the vase. 8.5" W x 4.5" H
